Emei Shan

Emei is one of China's sacred mountains, pilgrims trek to its Golden Summit along a well maintained trail.

With the Baoguo Monastery at its base Mt Emei allows you to take a look at the Buddhist religion practiced by the monk's at a number of monasteries along the way to the summit. You can hear the sound of bells and see a steady trickle of pilgrims making the trek with you.
